MeshFromLines

Not on menus.

The MeshFromLines command creates a mesh from three or more line segments. The line segments have to touch end to end and form closed regions.

Steps

  1. Start the command.
  2. Select line segments, and press Enter.

Note: MeshFromLines does not accept polyline inputs.

Command-line options

MaxSidesPerFace

Limits the number of sides for each face.

DeleteInput

Yes

Deletes the original geometry.

No

Retains the original geometry.

CurrentLayer

The output will be on the current layer.

Not on menus.

Creates a mesh from selected point objects or point clouds.

Command-line options

SamplingDensityPlusNoise

The number of points to use in a given grid cell.

AutoAdjustGrid (Yes/No)

Decides whether or not to calculate a better starting point.

NumOfContouringGridCells

The number of cells that the entire model is divided up into.
