Area Centroid

The AreaCentroid command reports the coordinates and places a point object at the area centroid of surfaces, polysurfaces, meshes, or closed planar curves.

Supported input
Surfaces, polysurfaces and meshes Closed planar curves

Cumulative area centroid is calculated from all objects in a group unless using Ctrl+Shift+click to select group members separately.

Group members that are hidden or on hidden layers will not be calculated.

Steps

Select curves, surfaces, or polysurfaces.
A point object will be placed at the centroid coordinates.
